What are these politicians thinking by banning glass in the blue box? At one point, glass was more heavily used and then came along plastic containers. Plastic is now polluting the land and seas, so now we ban plastic.
What do we do with glass now? Put it into a plastic garbage bag and throw it into a ditch at the side of the road?
