If the allegations are true, this article raises a couple of questions.

1. Why is there $10,000 worth of booze (presumably billed to the taxpayer) in the legislature — regardless of where it ended up?

2. Why can’t someone making about $350,000 a year (plus expenses) afford to buy his own clothes — let alone his own wood-splitter?

Probably the same old justifications — everyone’s been doing the same thing for years and there are no clear guidelines (the Mike Duffy defence).
