Well, that's a load off of my mind. Science will determine the future of the Northern Gateway project.
It's comforting to have a prime minister devoted to the supremacy of science. I guess one outstanding question remaining might be how does Stephen Harper define science? It appears his kind of science involves dollars and cents. He confides that the independent review will be "conducted by scientists into the economic costs and risks that are associated with the project."
Centuries ago, Thomas Browne said, "No one should approach the temple of science with the soul of a money changer."
Methinks he could well have been anticipating our prime minister.
