When the smart meters were first introduced by the B.C. Ministry of Energy, mayors and delgates were told at the Union of B.C. Municipalities conference the meters would monitor grow-ops and help throughout the province. Next, the public was told the super gadget would help us during power outages. I see no improvement in either area.
Now we have a problem with fires. Saskatchewan has recognized it. Many areas of the world are re-installing because of it. B.C. has recorded fires at installation sites in homes and public buildings such as the Salmo Post Office. Our Ministry of Energy denies these reported events.
It is puzzling. The ministry “doth protest too much.”
Even though international scientists, researchers and doctors have cautioned about the smart meter, we in B.C. are now being told again they do no harm. “Ours are made in the U.S. and safer.”
I wonder if the individual states that are removing meters now because of health issues and fires would agree?
