Re: “Oak Bay United Church aims to file affordable-housing papers by Friday,” Aug. 2.
Cheryl Thomas is wrong to suggest opposition to the Oak Bay United Church development is diminishing. Our sign and others’ have been taken down for repair or to save until the church makes a public move again.
The cost of the signs comes out of our pocket. We don’t have $500,000 of taxpayers’ money, so we have to repair and save.
