Re: “Legislature drinking water unsafe, MLA says,” March 9.
As a resident of Shawnigan Lake, I read with interest about the concern of contaminated drinking water at the legislature.
If they add a few more deadly chemicals to their water, they might start to comprehend how we feel at Shawnigan Lake. Perhaps, Premier Christy Clark can send out Environment Minister Mary Polak to let everyone know at the legislature that the Ministry of Environment staff have everything under control.
Maybe now that the premier’s and minister’s water is poisoned, they will finally understand and act before the water at Shawnigan Lake water suffers a similar fate. Or, do they want to have the destruction of Shawnigan Lake to be their legacy?
