Am I missing something in the reporting? A mob managed to disrupt and shut down a lawful organized event in Oak Bay because of disagreement over the sexual-orientation, gender-identity curriculum and what they labelled “hate speech”?

I guess nowadays, all you have to do is feed the “hate speech” mantra and free speech in democratic Canada is threatened, if not killed.

What has happened to politely disagreeing? What was actually accomplished? An example of what free speech looks like in Victoria these days — silencing others who don’t agree with you.
