We hear a lot about the issues that can be created by seniors falling.
Why does the government not give incentives for seniors? When a senior joins a club or exercise class, why not have this as a deduction on their income tax. Like the child tax credit, give a senior tax credit monthly to help pay for the cost. This may give the seniors a little push in joining a class or gym for the exercise needed to prevent some of these falls. A bike or exercise equipment as a deduction would probably also help.
