Getting hit by a cosmic two-by-four

Re: “Greens on sidelines for B.C.’s LNG party,” column, Oct. 3.

Scientists closest to the action don’t call it climate change anymore, they refer to it as “runaway” climate change.

The politicians, fossil-fuel representatives and public who are driving the expansion of LNG and oil pipelines either don’t know about this significant change or don’t care.

I guess jobs and “the economy” are somehow going to save us from the cosmic two-by-four that’s about to whack us in the back of the head.
