As a 78-year-old Indian-residential-school survivor, I have come to a few proven conclusions:
1. Our provincial governments and federal government are now directed by corporate interests rather than the Crown.
2. The corporate controllers of the provincial and federal governments have kept the colonial policies of the Crown.
3. So, the terms “post-colonial” and “post-imperial” are not dead, but taken over by big business and government that are simply puppets of big money.
4. So, a true name for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police is the Royal Canadian Colonialist Police. The Royal Canadian Colonialist Police are simple tools of the latest controllers of government and are simple muscle enforcers of corporate interest.
