When I take my car to downtown Victoria, I am always happy to see people also using transportation other than automobiles, because none of these people occupy parking spots, leaving me more of a chance to find one. They also do not block my way at a lineup waiting for the next green traffic light.
I want to be safe in my car. I also want pedestrians and bicycle riders to be safe.
I expect good infrastructure for them and for me.
Victoria Mayor Lisa Helps and the council have done a good job, more so than previous councils.
