Re: “600-metre-long boom towed out to sea for trash cleanup,” Sept. 9.
It was nice to see the story about the group going out into the Pacific to retrieve plastic garbage. It would have been even better if all the companies that produce plastic could be made to fund these efforts on an industrial scale.
