B.C. logs sailing away to U.S.

What a sad sight. Hundreds of B.C. logs heading south on a barge to the U.S. and then who knows where. We were on the waters in our boat off Sidney on July 31 and watched a tug and barge coming from B.C.

What a sad sight. Hundreds of B.C. logs heading south on a barge to the U.S. and then who knows where.

We were on the waters in our boat off Sidney on July 31 and watched a tug and barge coming from B.C. waters heading south past Stuart Island to the U.S.

Why are we exporting raw logs? Lost jobs for B.C. workers. This is happening while mill closures are taking place.

We should be banning exports of raw logs.
