Re: “Trial for Oak Bay man accused of killing his two daughters begins in Vancouver,” April 17.

The information in the article is suitable for the newspaper. However, to splash it on the front page, with a large picture of the man accused of murdering his two young children, with an accompanying note that some of the details in the story “are graphic and disturbing” seems to me to be sensationalist and in poor taste.

Is such a presentation desirable or helpful in any way?
