Re: “Greens have sold out for power,” letter, June 2.
I was astounded to see so many Andrew Weaver-bashing, sour-grapes letters in Friday’s Times Colonist. As a matter of fact, 57 per cent of the electorate voted for policies that both the NDP and the Greens agreed upon, namely, democratic reform, and environmental protection and enhancement.
Green Party Leader Weaver knew full well that these policies would never have been enacted if the Greens had aligned with the Liberals. Thank God I voted with the 57 per cent.
