Managing End of Life Choices: A Symposium takes place on Sunday, March 4, 9 am to 1 pm at the Jewish Community Centre of Victoria, 3636 Shelbourne Street, Victoria, BC V8P 4H2. Cost : Registration is $15.00 in advance* or $20.00 at the door.

Managing End of Life Choices: A Symposium takes place on Sunday, March 4, 9 am to 1 pm at the Jewish Community Centre of Victoria, 3636 Shelbourne Street, Victoria, BC V8P 4H2.

Cost: Registration is $15.00 in advance* or $20.00 at the door.  Registration includes the symposium, an information kit and a kosher lunch catered by Chabad. Registration: opens at 8:30 am; a kosher lunch catered by Chabad of Victoria will be served at 11:45 am.  *Register in advance at the Jewish Community Centre in person or by phone at 250-477-7185; payment is accepted in cash, debit card or credit card.

Along with Rabbanim and lay leaders, representatives of other organizations related to Jewish end of life issues will also be present to answer questions and discuss issues.

A collaborative effort by The Jewish Federation of Victoria and Vancouver Island, the Jewish Community Centre of Victoria, Congregation Emanu-El, Chabad, Kolot Mayim Reform Temple, the Jewish Burial Society, the Chevrah Kadisha and the Victoria Society for Humanistic Judaismhas created this symposium focusing on issues at the end of life.
