A Christmas drive-in light and music show at Ogden Point in December has sold out just days after online tickets went on sale.

Victoria Wonderland features lasers and light projections set to music where families stay in their vehicles — and their COVID bubbles — for a slow drive along the pier, through a large warehouse and the parking lot at Ogden Point to revel in the sights and sounds.

The launch of online ticket sales Wednesday morning initially crashed the system, but it was restarted early Thursday and the limited number of tickets priced at $40 per vehicle on weekdays and $50 on weekends went quickly.

The event is scheduled to run from Dec. 7 to 31 with six shows a day and 50 cars per show. It will take about 25 minutes for each vehicle to complete the tour.

A portion of the proceeds go to local charities.

The show is being run by local tech company Transcend Victoria and Sigma-1 Productions.

The companies were considering extending it into January, but organizers couldn’t be reached to confirm it Friday.
