Oak Bay police arrested an impaired driver who drove over the seawall by the Oak Bay Marina Monday night and continued driving along the beach. The car is seen at the centre of the image. In a Twitter message, the department said: “You know someone is impaired when they cross the oncoming lane, go over a five-foot seawall then keep driving on the beach. Scary that these people get behind the wheel!” Police said the woman spent the night in jail and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 17.
