West Shore RCMP looking for driver, passenger who walked away from Colwood rollover

West Shore RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the driver and passenger of a vehicle that rolled over onto its roof in the 700 block of Kelly Road in Colwood shortly after 7 p.m. on Monday.

West Shore RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the driver and passenger of a vehicle that rolled over onto its roof in the 700 block of Kelly Road in Colwood shortly after 7 p.m. on Monday.

The vehicle, a grey Mazda3 Sport, was westbound on Kelly Road when it crashed into a culvert, flipped and hit a utility pole before coming to a rest on its roof. Witnesses told police they saw a man and woman leave the vehicle and walk away from the scene.

“The initial cause of the collision remains unknown,” said Const. Alex Bérubé, spokesperson for the West Shore RCMP.

B.C. Hydro replaced the ­utility pole later in the evening.
