Victoria police are looking for witnesses to an arson at a Petro-Canada service station near Ross Bay Cemetery in Fairfield early Sunday.

Officers were called to the station on Fairfield Road, near the intersection with St. Charles Street, around 2:30 a.m. after the Victoria Fire Department responded to the fire.

Police said the flames were contained to the exterior of the building and firefighters put out the blaze. There were no injuries.

Investigators concluded the fire is arson, police said.

They ask anyone who has information about the incident, was in the area late Saturday or early Sunday or who has video of the area at the time to call police at 250-995-7654.
