Coun. Geoff Young was the latest to step forward, announcing Tuesday that he is backing Stephen Andrew.

Andrew, a former TV journalist, also has the support of two candidates who have dropped out of the race.

Councillors Sarah Potts and Sharmarke Dubow, meanwhile, have endorsed Stefanie Hardman. All three are members of the Together Victoria elector organization that helped to elect Potts, Dubow and Laurel Collins in 2018.

Collins resigned after winning the Victoria riding for the NDP in last year’s federal election, triggering the byelection to fill her council seat. She, too, has endorsed Hardman.
