Two teens arrested after windows smashed at Colwood elementary school

Two 15-year-olds have been arrested for mischief after two rounds of window smashing at David Cameron Elementary School in Colwood. West Shore RCMP received a report about 5:30 a.m.

The arrest of the 30-year-old man May 10 followed a search carried out by the West Shore RCMP’s Crime Reduction Unit at a residential Langford property on Moyes Road, near Treanor Avenue.

Two 15-year-olds have been arrested for mischief after two rounds of window smashing at David Cameron Elementary School in Colwood.

West Shore RCMP received a report about 5:30 a.m. Sunday and were provided with a description of one of the suspects, who was located at the scene and arrested.

Police left the area but were called back about an hour later for a report of more windows being broken at the Meaford Avenue school.

Another 15-year-old was arrested.

Damage is estimated at about $300.
