Two crashes within minutes of each other snarled Sooke Road traffic on Thursday morning.
The crashes occurred in the area of Kangaroo Road and West Coast Tire, said Metchosin Fire Chief Stephanie Dunlop. The first called came in about 5:30 a.m., she said.
One crash was a rear-ender, while the other was a rollover. The driver in the rollover was able to get out of the car on his own, Dunlop said.
Traffic was flowing by 7 a.m.
