Suspect sought in hoverboard theft from Langford Superstore

West Shore RCMP are trying to identify a man who allegedly stole two Segway hoverboards from the Langford Superstore on Dec. 29.

The store’s video-surveillance camera captured the man bypassing the cashier and walking out of the store carrying the boards, which are worth more than $300.

The man is 25 to 35 years old, approximately five-foot, 10-inches tall with a stocky build. The man has dark brown hair and was wearing a grey hoodie, grey sweat pants and grey shoes

Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to call West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264 or report anonymously through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-22-8477.
