Port Alberni RCMP located a suspect driver and vehicle Wednesday after two pedestrians were struck about 9:35 a.m.
Police said they are looking into the driver’s relationship to the victims, as well as whether the driver was impaired. Charges have not been laid.
Neither person hit is believed to have suffered life-threatening injuries.
Police credited witnesses with giving them information and a vehicle description that helped them find a suspect.
