Canadian Forces Snowbirds have landed in Nanaimo and will be putting a show today starting at 5:30 p.m.

The demonstration squadron’s show will last for 45 minutes to one hour. The 431 Squadron is on Vancouver Island to raise awareness and funds for the Children with Intestinal and Liver Disorders Foundation, known as the CHILD Foundation.

The squadron will be flying above Nanaimo Harbour, with the show centred above and in front of the boat basin by the bastion on Front Street.

Spectators should have a good vantage point from anywhere along the waterfront between the Nanaimo Yacht Club and Cameron Island.
