Saanich police arrest man holding pellet gun on B.C. Transit bus

A 32-year-old man is facing charges after a witness reported seeing a gun tucked into the waistband of his pants Tuesday as he was getting onto a bus. Saanich police were alerted about 3 p.m. The witness called just as the man was getting on a B.C.

A 32-year-old man is facing charges after a witness reported seeing a gun tucked into the waistband of his pants Tuesday as he was getting onto a bus.

Saanich police were alerted about 3 p.m. The witness called just as the man was getting on a B.C. Transit bus on Shelbourne Street and heading south.

Police called B.C. Transit and the bus was stopped near the Hillside Shopping Centre. The man was taken into custody and found to have a pellet gun.
