Saanich police have arrested a 43-year-old Saanich man in connection with a Sept. 10 sexual assault on a B.C. Transit bus.
He has been released on conditions and is expected to be in court later this year.
The investigation is ongoing.
The assault happened on a No. 39 bus that left the University of Victoria about 1:40 p.m. A man approached a woman during the bus trip and committed a sexual assault.
Both the man and the woman got off the bus at the Royal Oak Exchange about 2 p.m. and he briefly followed her before disappearing.
The woman was not physically injured.
