RCMP investigate two suspicious deaths in Parksville

The RCMP are continuing to investigate the sudden deaths of two people found Tuesday morning in their Parksville home.

Sgt. Stephen Rose said Oceanside RCMP received a 911 call at 9:51 a.m. from someone asking for assistance at the home in the 700 bock of Soriel Road.

Forensic identification experts from Port Alberni were called out to examine the scene. Police now believe these deaths are an isolated incident and there is no ongoing risk to the public, said Rose.

The B.C. Coroners Service is also investigating the deaths.
