Pricey e-bike stolen from Belgian couple’s motorhome in Nanaimo

A honeymooning couple from Belgium hit a speed bump on their B.C. trip when their expensive electric bike was stolen in Nanaimo.

The couple went for a hike to explore Colliery Dam Park around 2 p.m. on June 8 and returned to their motorhome about an hour and a half later to find their $15,000 e-bike gone. The lock the couple used to secure the bike to the back of the motorhome had been cut and was lying on the ground.
