Victoria patrol officers are looking to reunite music equipment with their rightful owner after the items were found in a stolen vehicle.

Victoria police have recovered a cache of stolen music devices and sound-distortion pedals, and are looking for their owner.

The equipment was seized from a vehicle which had been reported stolen from a business in the 400 block of Burnside Road East on April 26. Police found the vehicle the next day.

When officers contacted the owner of the vehicle, they were told the music equipment did not belong to the vehicle owner.

Officers now want to return the equipment to the rightful owner.

The recovered items include several Ditto brand mic loopers, Voicetone TC-helicon effects pedals and Perform VE devices. Some are in packages, while others appear to have been in the middle of being repaired.

Police have asked anyone with information on the stolen items to call the non-emergency line at 250-995-7654 ext 1.

To report what you know anonymously, call Greater Victoria Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
