Police want to hear from victims in human trafficking case

Montreal police would like to hear from any potential victims of Sulyvan Dignard, who was arrested May 9 in Victoria on allegations of human trafficking, CHEK news reports. Dignard was the subject of a Canada-wide warrant when arrested.

Montreal police would like to hear from any potential victims of Sulyvan Dignard, who was arrested May 9 in Victoria on allegations of human trafficking, CHEK news reports.

Dignard was the subject of a Canada-wide warrant when arrested. He is facing charges after appearing in court in Montreal Wednesday that include trafficking a person under the age of 18, procuring a person under the age of 18 and assault. Montreal investigators have said there could be victims in Montreal, Victoria and other Canadian locations, CHEK said.
