Three people found in a vehicle in a Store Street parking lot are facing drug-trafficking charges after 96 grams of fentanyl and heroin, 66 grams crystal methamphetamine and 2.79 grams of crack cocaine were discovered.
Victoria police said an officer on patrol just after 8 p.m. Oct. 30 thought the vehicle looked suspicious and called more officers to help her investigate.
Along with the drugs, police located weapons, including knives and pepper spray, $17,454 in Canadian cash, $480 in American cash and evidence of drug activity that included mobile phones, scales and packaging.
The vehicle and cash were referred for civil forfeiture.
