Police looking for witnesses to motorcycle crash

Sidney/North Saanich RCMP are looking for anyone who saw a motorcycle crash near the McTavish interchange.

On June 28 about 7:45 p.m., a black motorcycle travelling southbound on the Patricia Bay Highway took the ramp toward the McTavish traffic circle. The motorcycle skidded across the road, struck a barrier and knocked down a pedestrian crossing sign.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the motorcycle prior to the crash is asked to call the Sidney/North Saanich RCMP at 250-656-3931, citing file 2017-3482.
