Victoria police dog Jonny and handler Const. Aaron Spargo teamed up to make an arrest early Monday after someone broke into a vehicle in the 100 block of Gorge Road East.
Police received a report about 3:30 a.m. after someone broke a window in the vehicle and got into the trunk. The person had fled by the time police arrived.
Jonny was able to pick up a track and located a suspect in a bush close to the nearby intersection of Harriet Road and Chown Place.
The suspect was arrested without incident and taken to police cells.
