A pedestrian was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries Tuesday after being struck by a B.C. Transit bus at Douglas Street and Pandora Avenue.
The bus was turning onto Douglas when the incident occurred.
Victoria police, who were called about 8:25 a.m., said that investigators believe weather and driver error were factors.
Such incidents lead to an internal B.C. Transit investigation. Whenever a case involving a pedestrian or a cyclist occurs, drivers are required to take additional training.
