HitchBOT, the charming mechanical hitchhiker that thumbed its way across Canada, will be the honoured guest at a event at Open Space Gallery in Victoria Thursday evening.
The finale to HitchBOT’s remarkable national tour takes place at 510 Fort St. from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
HitchBOT left Halifax July 27 and relied on friendly motorists to get to Victoria, arriving last weekend.
The robot chatted about trivia and used Twitter to update its location.
