Oak Bay police are asking the public for help locating Nicholas Flanagan, a “high-risk” missing person last seen leaving his south Oak Bay residence at 9 p.m. Monday.

“We consider him to be a high risk and want to locate him swiftly,” said Ray Bernoties, Oak Bay Police chief. “His family is very concerned, as are we. If anyone sees him, they should call 911 right away so we can get to him.”

Flanagan is 37, six feet tall and 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, black pants, a red and black sweater and tan boots.

Police shared a photo of Flanagan that they said is fairly recent, but noted he now has longer hair and a beard.
