Nanaimo RCMP are asking for help from the public in finding 24-year-old Sungho (Luke) Park, who has not been in contact with his family in South Korea for six months.

His father travelled to Nanaimo from South Korea and on Oct. 20 reported him missing. Park’s family is very worried and desperate to locate him, police said.

He had been going to Vancouver Island University in early 2018 but is no longer enrolled. An address in University Heights where Park was living as recently as August did not yield details on his whereabouts.

Park is described as five-foot-six and 145 pounds with black hair and black eyes, and wears glasses.

Police ask anyone with information to call Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345. Tips can also be submitted by Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or nanaimocrimestoppers.com.
