Those hoping to travel from Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen via B.C. Ferries faced heavy afternoon traffic and multi-sailing waits on Friday.
Sailings at 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8 p.m. all reached 100 per cent of capacity, resulting in long waits for some passengers.
