Victoria police are continuing to search for a missing 16-year-old who they say could be in the company of a 34-year-old wanted man.
Lia Barker was last seen Sept. 21 in downtown Victoria, but police believe she might have travelled to the Lower Mainland with Lionel Sewap, who is wanted on several warrants for offenses including weapons possession, obstructing a police officer, disobeying a court order and several counts of failure to comply with a probation order.
Lia is white, five-foot-eight and about 120 pounds with a slim build, and has shoulder-length red hair, while Sewap is Indigenous, six feet tall and about 190 pounds, with shoulder-length black hair and brown eyes.
