A 58-year-old Surrey man last seen March 27 in Courtenay has been found dead.
Comox Valley RCMP said the body of Stephen Mapes was located Monday, and his death is not considered suspicious.
His case originated with the Surrey RCMP, but was transferred to the Comox Valley detachment after it was discovered he had travelled to Courtenay.
