UPDATE: The missing woman has been found safe, according to Nanaimo RCMP.
Nanaimo RCMP are searching for a 57-year-old woman who did not arrive at a work appointment May 6.
A friend told police that this is out-of-character for Tracy Ferguson, leading to concern for her safety.
Police have learned that she has been living on a boat moored at Anchorage Marina on Stewart Avenue, but she has not been there since May 3.
Ferguson is white, five-foot-three and 130 pounds with long grey hair and blue eyes.
