West Shore RCMP report a 44 per cent jump in mental-health calls in March compared with last year.
That represents an increase to 98 calls from 68 in March 2019, police said.
“Easter weekend has traditionally been a time where we come together to socialize and share in celebration,” said West Shore RCMP Const. Nancy Saggar. “This year things look and feel very different.
