RCMP are investigating an armed robbery at a pub and liquor store near Ladysmith on Saturday.
Police said a masked man walked into the store in the 1600-block of Timberlands Road about 10:30 p.m., pulled a gun and ordered a clerk to empty the contents of the cash register into a backpack.
The suspect then reached across the counter and shoved about 60 packages of cigarettes into the backpack before running out the door, police say.
The suspect is described as six-foot-four, 230 to 240 pounds, wearing a blue zip-up hoodie, black ball cap, black balaclava, black jeans and yellow work gloves.
Anyone with information is asked to call Ladysmith RCMP at 250-245-2215 or CrimeStoppers.
