Victoria police are searching for two “almost identical” suspects after an assault and robbery early Sunday in the downtown core.
Around 2 a.m., a man walking in the 500-block of Broughton Street was attacked from behind by two men. He was rendered unconscious but contacted police after being taken to hospital. The victim told police he had been robbed.
He described the two men who attacked him as white and between the ages of 30 and 40 and said they looked almost identical. They have slim builds and both were unshaven and wore baseball caps. Their voices are described as “raspy.” One of the men was on a BMX-style bicycle.
