Comox Valley RCMP have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with a robbery last week.
On Feb. 19 about 12:50 a.m. a woman who had just locked up a Comox store and was putting things in her trunk was approached by a man displaying what appeared to be a handgun. He stole her purse and car keys, and she sustained a laceration on her neck.
The Major Crime Unit made an arrest Tuesday morning and are confident they have the person responsible for the crime, said unit member Staff Sgt. Glen Breckon.
The suspect will remain in custody pending a court appearance.
