Falling rock briefly blocked Highway 1 between Westshore Parkway and Finlayson Arm Road on Sunday.
Emcon Services Inc. posted a notice on social media mid-afternoon that the highway was closed in both directions while a geo-technical investigation was carried out.
Shortly afterward the company announced that area had been assessed and the highway was open to traffic in both directions.
