Saanich police are responding to a five-vehicle crash on the Patricia Bay Highway.
Police said on social media that the collision just north of Royal Oak Drive had temporarily closed both northbound lanes.
By 5 p.m., the vehicles had been moved to the shoulder. Police asked drivers to exercise caution when passing and to slow to 70 kilometres an hour and move over if possible.
