A man was found with two firearms, knives, ammunition and drugs on him after being chased down by Victoria police early Friday.
The man, a suspect in a drug-trafficking operation, was spotted by police about 12:30 a.m. on Queens Avenue near Blanshard Street.
He fled on a bicycle and then on foot before being caught on Government Street.
Police said the drugs found were fentanyl and methamphetamine, while the firearms were a .38-calibre revolver and a 9-millimetre rifle.
The man was the subject of conditions that he not possess any weapons and was also in breach of his curfew, police said.
